It is Mother’s Day today. Though it’s a western festival it’s popular in China now. Mom has a full - time job, so she has to do most of the houseworks. She is a great mother. Both Dad or I planned to do something on Mother’s Day. We got up earlier in the morning. Dad cleaned the house, and then went on shopping. When he comes back I found a bunch of flowers in her hand. On New Year’s Day I went to a stamp exhibition, that proved to be a unique experience.
I arrived at the exhibition with my precious stamp album, eager and exciting. Crowds of stamp lovers had gathered here. I joined in them and studied the stamps one by one. I was deep absorbed in the artists’ delicate design and wanted to learn more. Then, some of us got together in twos and threes to share our collections, chatting cheerfully about the stamps and stories behind it like old friends. Time passes quickly and it was time to say goodbye to these friends. We took pictures together but made promises to meet again.
I had great time today. Not only did I appreciate beautiful stamp, but also I made new friends of the same interest.

I got my driver's license yesterday, which was really excited. I decided to go out a drive in celebration of my success in passing the driving test. It was hot. I was walking my dog downstairs last night. When I return home, my dog followed back with the wallet in her mouth. I took it out from her mouth and found it was full cash. Last year, I studied abroad as an exchange students. One time I made a stupid mistake of leave my essay until the last minute. I started at 6 pm. Three hours late, I only finished two paragraphs and got into a panic, so I turned my friends for help. The first person I spoke to was Jenny, whom recommended I take myself away from the situation. So next I message my friends from the exchange program. I was inviting to their flat to watch TV for an hour and clearing my head, which really helped. Today I tried cooking a simple dish (一道简单的菜) myself. I like eating fried tomatoes with eggs (西红柿炒蛋), and I thought it must to be easy to cook. My mom told me how to preparing it. Every weekend, I took my children to the park. A recent study shows that many high-school student do not have breakfast. As a result, they are not health and do badly in study.
