My room-mate, Wu bang, is from Da lian.
I have also made friends with my classmate Li Xing, whose family is in Nanjing, just like ours. When we first met, I thought Li Xing was quite shy because he didn't say much.
Another friend I want to tell you about is Zhao Ji.
Please don’t worry about me. I am happy here and studying hard.
The truth is, diet and way of life are often a problem for teenagers. However, the good news is that you can feel better, look better and have more energy if you eat the right food and exercise regularly.
Exercise is something that can help to make you look good, feel good and be healthy.
A good amount of sleep every night is also important for your health. When you sleep, your body prepares you for the day to come. Teenagers need eight to ten hours of sleep each night.
Caring about others and being ready to help are traditional Chinese moral virtues. In the West, there are many people doing good deeds and reminding us of the power of giving.
As a six-year-old Canadian schoolboy, Ryan had trouble believing the words spoken by his teacher that many people in developing African countries couldn’t get enough clean water. At first, he cleaned windows and did gardening for his family to earn money to build a single well in Africa.
Later, Ryan was determined to help other children have clean water.
Finally, in Uganda, Ryan saw the finished well with his own eyes and a great warmth filled him. He really had made a difference for these children. Ryan’s experience led him to set up a foundation to encourage more people to help.
Now, as an adult, Ryan says that the question to ask is not “Why don’t I help?”, but “How can I help today?”. He is really a six-year-old boy who had the courage and perseverance to make his dream a reality.
Doing good deeds is actually quite easy. There are opportunities to do good deeds every day. Please remember—
We can try our best to reduce the damage of natural disasters to the slightest degree. As a dad, we can
All of a sudden,
Each turned to fly — each running, pressing, pushing against the other. Each hurried blindly and fearfully on.
Respect nature, protect nature and cherish nature. This is the very attitude we should have towards nature!
Yang Liwei was born in 1965. He had wanted to fly since he was a young boy.
