One of the difficulty for foreign students in American universities is taking notes while listen to lectures. These notes are later used to studying for exams. If the notes aren’t well, it will be hard for the students to prepare for the exams. But it is not easy take good notes. If you are try to write every word the professor say, you can’t keep pace with the lecture. That you should learn is how to set down only the most important words, not whole sentences. Words such like nouns and verbs are most important. Remembering that you need information, not sentences.

First of all, we should order a proper amount of food such that we can eat them up. What’s more, we were supposed to form a good eating habit, which is great benefit to our health. Last but not least, we can call on fewer schoolmates to fight against food waste. In a brief, it is high time that we took action to reduce food waste. Let’s do it now.

The protection of national and folk culture is of greatly significant to Chinese cultural diversity and also to the local develop. It’s reported that the Guangdong government pay special attention to protecting Chaoju, a local drama who was born in Chaozhou. In my opinion, some measures should be take to protect traditional culture effective. To start with, we should make a law regulate society’s performance. Besides, we should draw more people’s attention to culture protection, so the more they know about its importance, the strong support we can get from the public. In the word, it’s high time that we should treasure our valuable culture.

I’m here to call on all of us save food. In our campus, students are often seen wasting food. They either order too much to eat out and throw out the food because of it doesn’t taste good. They may forget the famous line of poetry, “Every grain on the plate come from hard work” or actually don’t get its real meaning. So how should we do to stop this? On the one hand, we should order so much as we can eat and not be too particularly about food. On the other hand, if they cannot finish all the food we order, taking the rest away. Saving food is everybody’s responsible. Let’s start right away!

We often talk about what to spend a weekend. In my opinion, the best way is to make them meaningful, and this is what we are often try to do. Sometimes, we go to the countryside to enjoy the beauty of nature, or experienced the life of local people. At other times, we take parts in various activities that is organized by the clubs of our school. What’s more, a weekend offers good opportunities to us students to show kind to people, so we often volunteer to help people at need on the weekend. In the word, a meaningful weekend is helpful for our character training but makes our school life even more colorful.
