I flew back to New York from a spring break. My flight landed lately in the evening. I decided to taking an airport bus to the downtown area so that I could find a faster and cheap taxi to get home. Last Sunday, I walked my dog, Zuma, in a small square near my home, when there was a little blond-haired boy. She looked kind of lonely and was kicking a football by himself. For my surprise, Zuma, who had been afraid of other child before, was drawn to the little boy. So, I would asked permission for us to watch his football practice. He was shyly but said OK. Later, Zuma got so exciting watching him kick the football that he ran up to the boy. We are extremely happy to cheer on little boy. And I felt he had a good time with us, either.

I chose to spread knowledge in a rural school rather than donate some used books and stationary, that I think shows equality and respect to those being helped. On my arrive after a long and rough ride, I was greeted by exciting students with great enthusiasm. They felt, curiously when I told them my plan to teach them scientific experiments. It took a week that I was ready to start. I demonstrated, guided them to conduct the experiments and explain the principles.
Looking at their widening eyes, I was happy to see that the seed of science had planted in their hearts. As a volunteer, I expect for no material, rewards. Beside, nothing is more rewarding than to help the kids to develop his curiosity about science.

Last week, I went to travel and bought a glass of vase. It was originally packed in a box, and the gaps in the box was filled of waste paper. Considering the inconvenience of taking so many luggage, I threw away the box and the paper, and directly put the vase into small suitcase. On our way home yesterday, one of my close friends was feeling a bit low because of she had a really bad day. I tried many way to cheer her up, but anything worked. I was worried on her. Whenever we were nearly home, I found that the trees along the road was in beautiful fall colors and the sun was shining. So I point it out to her. See that, she started to get happy and enjoy the colors. She took pictures of the yellow leaves and was all smiles final. The most positive person that I had met is my classmate Xia Tian. One day, in art class, Xia Tian was making a painting when one of the boys were running around with a paintbrush. All of sudden, the boy accidentally drew a line of brown paint in Xia Tian’s painting as he was running past. Instead of get angry she simply smiled but forgave that boy. After that, Xia Tian who started painting around that brown line, and she turned it into a beautiful tree branch in his picture.
