Last weekend, the storm struck our village. I was watching TV with my family while we heard a loud noise. Several minutes later, our house fall down and covered us. It took us a long time after we managed to climb out, but I found one of my dog dead. The storm damaged lots of houses, some of them were nearly destroyed. More than two hundreds people were killed in the disaster, and some were seriously injured and take to hospital. It was reported that many people were homeless because the storm. Now we are working together to rebuilt their village and I firmly believe tomorrow is another day.

One day, when I lived in Germany, I decided to go shopping and I drive into downtown. I was very pleased because I found out a parking space immediately. It was rather unusual. I did my shopping, that only took half an hour and I went back to my car. To my absolutely horror, it was no longer on the ground but it was in air. I really did not know what to do at that point but I went to the police station. The policeman were very kind to me. They told me I parked into the entrance to a car park and as a result, everybody could get out of the car park. Then I wanted to laugh and cried at the same time. It made me embarrassing.

There is a library in our community. My brother and I went to the library every Saturday either do homework or pick out whatever we want to read. We spend a couple of hour there and find lots of things to talk about afterward. Saturday’s night is family movie night so we usual pick up a DVD to watch that night. We get everything the library has to offer. I have DVDS, books and magazines borrowing from our library. My brother enjoys listen to music so he often checks out records. The library has always been a community that values of reading and learning. It has also been a social center that we can connect with another children and find out about activities that are going on.

Yesterday a school boy is daydreaming in class. Not knowing that he was doing, he put a pen cap into his mouth. A few minutes late, he was terrified to find he had swallowed it! The teacher was shocking when the boy stood up and said,“I’ve just swallowed a pen cap.”He was quickly sent the nearest hospitals. There a doctor examined him but said the best treatment was to take some medicine so that the pen cap could pass natural. Three hours later, the boy successfully made it. “She is really lucky,” said the doctor. “It’s very not rare that small children put things into their mouths for a fun. It’s very dangerous.”
