I like travelling and my dream of visit Beijing, the capital city of our country, come true during the National Day holidays this year. In October lst, I went to Tian'anmen Square with my parents, there we watched the flag-raising ceremony. As I watched flag rising slowly, I sang the national anthem, feel extremely excited. Then we went to some other famous tourist attraction, like the Great Wall. Standing on the Great Wall, I felt very proudly, I thought of the old saying that "One who fail to reach the Great Wall is not a hero." Although I was tired hut I really had a good time.

Yesterday I met a young student, that came from the USA, in the Palace Museum. It was first time that I had met a foreigner, so I went to greet her in English. He told me that he was a college student travel in China and he liked China very much. I volunteered to show him around to the museum. He was impressed by the Chinese buildings and busy taking photo all the time. He said he hadn't seen so beautiful buildings before. After that, we go boating on a lake but had good time together. I was very glad to have the chance to improve my speaking English.

My grandparents had a small farm, that they grew crops and vegetables. They also raised dozen of hens and cocks, which were kept, in an area surrounded by a fence for protect. However, there were always several chickens escaped through the fence, wandering freely in the fields.
Last spring, I visited to my grandparents' farm and play near the wheat field. Suddenly I caught amazing sight: a hen was walking past, following by five chicks! No one knew where and when the hen hatched his little kids. My grandma was happy and hurried prepared a new home for the mother and the children.

When I was eight, my father bought me the new bike for my birthday. My brother offered to teach me how to ride. At first, they rode and let me watching. It was 9 a. m.. The sun has shone brilliantly. I stood by the lake, waited for my turn to boat. After while, it seemed to be disappointing and disappeared from my sight. Later I got a chance to row a boat in the lake. Seeing some pigeon flying the white wings in the sky and others feeding themselves on the bank, I merrily rowed the boat, a gentle wind passing me pleasant.
It is not until you experience in person when you can get the real meaning from nature.

During the summer holiday, I thought I should do anything meaningful instead of touring. So I got a job at a fast food restaurant but worked there as a cleaner. I worked 7 hours day for three weeks. The job was boring and seemed endless, in which made me so tired that I nearly stopped it halfway. After all, I stuck to it with determinations. Every day, I started off for work early in the morning, and went home later in the evening. Finally, I finished the job before the new school term begins. Now, I understand how labor means. I think it is a successfully experience, which is worth remember forever.
