Last Friday, our grade hold a fun sports meeting, that aim was to relieve us senior three students from pressure. I, as well as my best friend, were asked to compete in the three-legged race.
The three-legged race required effective cooperation between teammates. Thus, during the days before the competition, we practised the game after the school.
Then came the big days. With my left foot and my friend’s right foot tying together, we set out fast as soon as our PE teacher blew his whistle. The playground was filled with our schoolmates cheers. A few minutes later, we tried hardly and crossed the finishing line quickly. Our class organized a voluntary activity where they carried out a thorough clean-up of the city square on last Saturday. We set out early in the morning. Aiming at improving our learning efficiency, a theme class meeting was held on last Friday afternoon. During the meeting, we discussed effective but practical learning methods for different subject. Besides, we shared our experience in balance study and life. Through exchanges with classmates, we learn a lot from them and were also inspired by their ideas. More importantly, we gained a deeper understanding of the present situation and realized that we needed to do was to improve our academic performance.

With the aim of enriching our school life, our school hold a chorus competition last week. Our teacher encouraged us take an active part in the activity. Last week, we took part in a series of activities intending to carry forward Lei Feng’s spirit. To raise the awareness of the importance of fitness, a “Sports Week” organized in our school last week, from which all the students took an active part.
Some girls, who normal had no interest in any sports, played skip rope and had a great fun. Some students practiced dancing, boosted their confidence at the same time. It was most exciting was the football match, before which players made full preparations.
