Our class joined in a meaningful activity during the winter vacation. First, we went to visit the old lady who lived all alone. Some chatted with her but others helped do a thorough cleaning for us. When the work was done, the house looked real neat and tidy. Then we went to the sports center, there all equipment needed polished. We set out to work at once. Everything was dust-free at no time. There are a number Chinese songs people from different countries love. The song named Mom in the Candlelight is my favorite. The other day, I was later for an appointment. To make matter worse, my phone was powered off. It was raining heavy and I couldn’t figure out what to do. I notice there was a mother and her daughter talking over there. I walked over and interrupted, "Excuse me, may I use your phone?" She handed them to me but explained it was close to be out of service. That was because she didn’t have money to pay the bill.
Before hanging up, I pulled out $20 bill. I pressed it into the mother hand. Her daughter thanked for me and I felt pleased and left.

Tom has been in my school as exchange student for near one month. He asked me to help him prepare her trip to the Great Wall on last Friday. Last Saturday afternoon several friend invited me to go to the movies. I was riding my bike clown to the corner shop in a Saturday morning when I attracted by a cute boy who was walking his dog. Suddenly my neighbour drives past and honked (按喇叭) at me. I was so surprising that I crashed into an old lady walk down the street! Lucky, the old lady wasn't hurt, but I fell off my bike and landed in the hole. They also have too much sugar. So, giving monkeys bananas is equal to give people cake and chocolate. All that sugar can lead to healthy problems for the monkeys. They can lose their teeth, get fat or get diabetes.
