ONLINE REVIEW:
Lucky to have stayed at the Lucky Inn
By Poshie
I wish I could live there! I went there on a ladies-only trip in July, and we were treated like queens. The staff go above and beyond. Mario at the front desk was incredible. He even upgraded our room because he knew we were all tired moms who rarely ever get to have a trip like this. Glad that I’ve chosen this for my holiday!
RESPONSE:
Thank you for your review! I' m glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and that Mario was able to help you. I'll pass on your comments to him. We hope you'll return to stay with us whenever you are in the area. And let us know when you're coming so we can make extra cookies for you!

6 . You can't buy your 10-year-old daughter a smart phone because you are scared of her becoming a social outcast. Sometimes as the parent, you have to make the hard decisions and be the backbone. But you need to be confident in your decision, and to do that you have to think it through and discuss it.
It's possible for children to have smart phones and not become addicted, which means they can use theirs smartphones reasonably. They can have one and also read a lot and even play outside. It's not black or white. You may ask me what I would do as a parent. I have never been addicted to technology, but I don't refuse it. I haven't and wouldn't buy my daughter a smartphone, but I have given her my old ones with rules attached. And it's important for parent to understand their children's phones and how they work. But parental decisions made with no discussion don't harvest respect and understanding, only hostility. And there will be the seeds of anger later .
It's interesting that you see the smartphone as more of an issue than social media. I am the opposite. A smartphone can be an amazing tool to help your children communicate with others and discover new things , but it can also become a tool that brings school life and its problems home. That's what I would oppose most because we all need switch-off time. Think of some rules for using smartphones, but they need to be discussed and work for you. For example, no phones upstairs, minimal use at home,no social media sites, or only certain, no independent app-buying,etc. A smartphone shouldn't be a byword for"do what you want".
This will be the first of many things your daughter feels passionate(热情的) about and you may not agree with. She needs to listen to you and you also need to listen to her. As an adult, you are in charge and are supposed to build a good relationship with her. And it's your job to take the long view at times when her vision can see only what's right in front of her.

8 . The Orchard
I had a very nice meal at the Orchard restaurant. The food was lovely and the service was quite good.We chose to eat in the garden which was full of beautiful flowers and very relaxing. The only disappointment was the dessert — the apple pie was far too sweet and it was cold too.Apart from that it was an enjoyable evening. As for the price — what a bargain, excellent value for money!
Park Inn
The best thing about Park Inn was the service — it was excellent. There was a warm welcome when we arrived and the waiters were very helpful all evening. However, the food wasn’t as good. The menu looked interesting but the meals were rather tasteless. It’s not a cheap restaurant and I wasn’t happy to pay so much for boring food.
Richard’s Place
When we entered the restaurant,we were surprised by the lovely interior (内部的) design of it.So stylish,so modern! This is one of the most popular restaurants in town and it’s very easy to see why.The food was great and excellent value for money but it was ruined by very, very poor service!
The Riverside
It was lovely sitting outside and looking over the river. There were lots of little lanterns (灯笼) and colored lights everywhere and it all looked very pretty. The food was good, nothing very special but quite tasty. The service was OK; we didn’t have to wait too long for our food but the waiter never looked very happy! It’s quite an expensive place but with the view I think it’s quite good value for money.
