Last weekend, our school held a cosplay opening ceremony. I was not selected to participate the cosplay. But I was still very happy to watch a ceremony. I arrived at the gymnasium 10 minute early. I found that cosplay players selecting from each class of the school were dressed up in their own costumes. There were some players were dressed up as movie characters such as the Fairy and Harry Potter. We also see some superheroes like Spiderman and Captain America. Their funny performances made us happily. The show was very interesting but we all enjoyed it. The only regret is whether the time is very short. All of us wished they could have lasted longer.

On our way home yesterday, one of my close friends was feeling a bit low because of she had a really bad day. I tried many way to cheer her up, but anything worked. I was worried on her. Whenever we were nearly home, I found that the trees along the road was in beautiful fall colors and the sun was shining. So I point it out to her. See that, she started to get happy and enjoy the colors. She took pictures of the yellow leaves and was all smiles final. This was a good lesson showing that nature is always there comfort and encourage us.
More and more foreigners like to come to China. Last Friday, the foreign teacher was invited to our school give a lecture to the students of Grade Two. We found his lecture lively and interestingly. I learned a lot of from him. The teacher talked to us freely with easy English. He spoke so slowly that we understand him very well. Sometimes he repeated that we didn’t understand. My classmates were all active in class. To my joy, I understood everything the teacher said. But I was able to ask question in English. I was deeply encouraged.. I think if we practise like this, to learn spoken English well will be easily for us.
When I was a child, I spent more than ten years learn the violin. Therefore, I couldn't understand “real music”. After I graduate from high school, a friend of mine suggested that we started to learn the guitar because we all thought it was cool. I will never forget the day on that we went to buy guitars in the guitar store. There I saw a guitar player playing the guitar, which I really enjoyed. He became my the first guitar teacher. It took me such a long time choose a guitar among several wonderful model. Now the guitar is the most importantly part of my life and I practise it every day.

Nowadays, many students are like to pursue famous brands. This phenomenon has aroused widely attention. The following reasons can account on students’ preference for famous brands.
Above all, in many students' eyes, an famous brand is a symbol of taste. They expect others to admire his high-class and good taste. What's more, in modern society, famous brands to some extents are equal to fashion, and it always appealed to teenagers a lot. I think it is unreasonable for students pursue famous brands. Beside, it is not famous brands but a person’s noble character that really make him high-class.
