Last week, a group of international students paid visit to our school to learn about our tea-drinking culture. They were taken to the tea room in our school which I introduced the history of tea making and different kind of tea. Then I showed them what to make tea. I sat at a table, explaining every step of the process while make tea. All of them were amazing and couldn’t wait to have a try. Soon the tea room became live with everyone trying to make our own tea. We had a lot of fun, practicing but enjoying the tea.

In the end, we took in a group photo to record this unforgettable experience.

My list of favorite books are long. I read a lot and I just keep finding new favorites. In my family, we often talk about the books we are reading and passing around our favorites. It benefits a whole family.

I discovered how share favorite books can help strength a friendship long ago. When I was a kid, my friend Liz became very sicker and was going to miss a lot of school. I fill a big bag with some of my favorite books for her read. She never forgot that. Today, she lives thousand of miles away from me, but she sometimes e-mails with me about the books she is reading.

We had a school trip last Sunday. Hundreds of us took part in it excited.

At 8:00 a. m., we set out for the top of Jiuhuang Mountain in highly spirits. All the way we were chatting, singing and laughing, enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful scenery. When someone fall behind, others would come to offer help. About two hour later, we all reached the top. Seeing from there, the river below looked like a thin belt. We were such happy that we jumped and cheered with joy.

The activity benefited us a lot of. Not only did we get close to nature, but also we relaxed us. What wonderful experience!

Although the first time I flew on a plane were eight years ago, but I can still remember how afraid I was that day. As the child, I had wondered what it would be like to flying on a plane. In March of 2011, I went on my first plane ride with my parents. We flew from Beijing to London to visit ours relatives. It was a large plane. There were a lot people on it. I was very nervous during the journey that I did not eat any meal. I stay awake all the way. I wouldn’t go to the bathroom. I cannot tell you, how relaxing I was when the plane final landed at the airport.

Several days ago, my classmates and I visited to the Cincinnati School for the Blind and Deaf. We had party with some of the student there and had a wonderful time. I met a girl at the party. She couldn’t speak or hear, but we “talked” by writing on each other hands. When saying goodbye, she writes on my hand, “Please come here as often as possible.” Many people are concerning about disabled people and give her money. However, I think which we should do is to communicate with them rather than give money. If you want to help disabled people, making friends with them and visit them regularly. Nothing is much important than friendship.

Last weekend, our school held a cosplay opening ceremony. I was not selected to participate the cosplay. But I was still very happy to watch a ceremony. I arrived at the gymnasium 10 minute early. I found that cosplay players selecting from each class of the school were dressed up in their own costumes. There were some players were dressed up as movie characters such as the Fairy and Harry Potter. We also see some superheroes like Spiderman and Captain America. Their funny performances made us happily. The show was very interesting but we all enjoyed it. The only regret is whether the time is very short. All of us wished they could have lasted longer.

When I began to learn German, it was struggle. The words feel strange on my tongue and the grammars wouldn’t stay in my head. I wanted to give up, but my mum told myself learning a language wasn’t just for my future. It was exercise for my brain. The more I learned a language, so the more my brain would grow. I remember that day when I suddenly felt like German was really no long a foreign language. I had finally come to a place where I could think in this foreign language but see the world from a differently point of view. I felt as if I had reached the goal I had been fighting with. I finally understood why my mum has encouraged me not to give up.

When my cousin graduated from college three years ago, he offered a high-paid job in the city. Considering his passion for gardening, he quit a job and returned to his hometown, where lies in the east of Henan Province.

Despite his parents’ disapproval, but my cousin determined to set up a modern farm to grow organic fruits and vegetable. With loads of difficulties overcoming, up to now, his efforts had paid off. Big although the farm is, it is watered by an automatically irrigation system. Besides, the products are mainly picked by several robots. Fresh and tasty, it sell well all the year round, making the farm a model to follow.
