I love English so much. It is my favorite subject, because master a foreign language helps me to know more about the world. Hi, Eric! What to improve your spoken English is really a problem. I use to meet such a problem but now I speak English well. I listen to highly-quality spoken English every day and record my own speech. Play it back, I compare the pronunciation of the speakers with my and correct my wrong pronunciation. Besides, I practice speaking English in public as often as possible, which help me gain confidence and fluency. I hope these suggestions will benefit from you.
However, I have trouble in reading. But I know the meanings of most words, I can’t understand whole sentence because of some set idiom and phrases. Any good advice? I am eager for your help.

Our school hold an online English speech successfully on 21 April, which theme was To The World. Twenty students participated in them and four teachers were invited as judges.
A brief self-introduction video about the competitors was shown on the beginning of the competition. Then each of the competitor delivered a speech about how impressive achievements had been made in our country. Eventual, the competitors answered some questions raising by the judges. Li Hua was defeated all the other competitors, winning the first place.
The competition not only created an opportunity for students practice their English but also cheered up students staying at home.

Nowadays, some famous tourist attractions are crowded of tourists during the holidays, which makes it possible for tourists to enjoy themselves. Today, my family and I went hiking in the mountain where is rich in wildlife. We had a great time explored the beautiful scenery. We set out early in the morning, full equipped with snacks and water. During the climb, we watch the wildlife and took many photo. Besides, we have had a picnic lunch at the top of the mountain and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

I preferred my English classes to be taught only in English, because it is helpful for us to improve an ability to speak and listen.
I have strong interested in English and foreign culture, so I’d like to be total absorbed in the atmosphere of English. I can quickly make a progress. The proverbs I like most is “Where there is a will, there is a way”, what tells that we should stick to our dreams. When in Junior Middle School, I was too poor in my studies that I nearly gave up. There are many unforgettable person around us. But for me a most unforgettable one is my English teacher, Mr. Liu. That frequently brings back my memories is his great qualities.
