He suggests that we should practise English as many as possible. We can do this by listening to English programmes on radio and TV, like news programmes, teach programmes and films. We must also remember to read English newspapers and books. It's important to get to a good student's dictionary. Student's dictionaries are much easier to use because they have clearly explanations. They also have more examples of everyday phrases. And you know all those similar words we get confusing with? The differences between them are explained. Beside, these dictionaries have headwords that are darker. I don't know student's dictionaries could be of such great helpful.

One day, I happened to finding a chatting room in my QQ, there people were chatting in English. I try chatting with some of them . To my shocking , I found the oral English of some junior students was better than mine . I asked them for advices and they told me to practice more . But every day after that, I would spend one hour practise my oral English on the Internet. It was because their suggestions that I learned many useful words and expressions day by day. With time went by, I found that I could even communicate with some college students freely and get along well with among them.

My speaking English was not standard at first. My English teacher once asked me to read a text, but all my classmates laughed me. I didn’t understand why. Late, my friend told me that my pronunciation was really strange. It was the first time that I have read an English text in class, and failed. I felt very ashamed. Then, I didn’t want to speak English in the front of anyone.
When my English teacher knew it, she began to correct my pronunciation. With his encouragement, I put my heart into read words, phrases and texts. He told me that when there’s a will there’s a way. Thanks to him, I have made great progresses.

That was seven years ago that I began to learn English, so English has been my friend for a long time. Initially, I learnt English with the intention of being admitted to key university. Now I want to share some tips on my learning English to you. What really help me is watching English TV programs and film. They don’t have to be anything really difficult. I would like to suggest that you can start with a children’s show you had already seen. On the one hand, you know what is happening. You can concentrate on writing down useful words and phrases or repeating that is said. On other hand, you can hear English speak in a more natural way. In my opinion, I will learn much faster but benefit a lot more if you do so.

Today Mr. Zhang, our English teacher, told us what to improve our English writing skills. The ability to write in English is becoming increasing important in English communication as well as in examinations. Thus, it was worth focusing our attention on.
In order to write the good essay we should have an excellent command of over 2,000 frequently-used English word. It’s necessary and useful for them to read or even recite beautiful English articles. Beside, as the saying goes, that “Practice makes perfect”, so we should take every possible chance to write in English.
According my personal experience, keep a diary every day is a good means to achieve the aim.

The Oxford English Dictionary is thinking of adding the Chinese word “Tuhao” to its latest edition. The word had become popular in China during the past few months to describe rich people who spend money in wasteful ways. “Tuhao” has been caught on in western countries, either. Similar people are described likewise in his countries. True speaking, the adoption of the word by foreign countries is example of China’s spreading influence. Foreigners are paying attention to which is happening in China and are picking up some Chinese words, especially the words which express unique Chinese idea and cannot be easily translated into English. Hopefully, China’s influence for the world will continue to be strengthened with an increasing number of Chinese words adopting by foreign dictionaries.

Today we had the honor of invite Professor Hudson, a foreign teacher from Beijing University, to give us an English lesson. All of us were deeply impressing by this unforgettable English lesson. The professor began the class with an amusing English story, that attracted our attention at once. He spoke slowly and clearly so that we could follow her well. Great inspired, most of us took an active part in classroom activities. After class, many students being interviewed spoke highly of him. They said that never they experienced such interesting a class. From his lesson, we came to a conclusion what it is not so difficult to learn English but we find a good way.

Firstly, why not to learn to sing Chinese songs? It’s a good way to learn Chinese and can make you feel relaxing. Secondly, you can make some Chinese friends. Although you get along well with it, they will help you to learn Chinese. Beside, it will be helpful if you watched some Chinese TV programmes and read some Chinese novels. Finally, joining a club is also the good way to learn Chinese. In this way, you will get more chances to practice Chinese.
