Jim is one of my close friend. Two months ago, his mother buy a computer for him as a birthday present. She hoped Jim will study hard under the help of the computer. Last Saturday I went to the library as usually. At about noon, I was enjoying my reading near a lake while suddenly I hear someone crying for help. I went to see what was happened. I was shocking to find a little child struggling in the water in the distance while many peoples were standing by without doing anything. Without any hesitation (犹豫), I had pushed through the crowd as I took off my coat, but jumped into the water quickly. I managed to reach him and carried him back to safety. I was waiting in line to order a pizza. A man stood after me, with a cellphone pressing to his ear. “Honey, the line is really longer,” the man said. After ordering, the man says to everyone in line: “You made the new mom’s day!” Sometimes, it’s so an easy way to brighten someone’s day.
The other day, I was invited my friend Sam’s home for dinner. I felt a bit surprising when I saw Bill there. It was two month since we two had quarreled, so I was embarrassed and didn’t know how to do. I sat down on the sofa but began to watch TV. Late, Sam came to ask me to make up with Bill. Until then I realize that Sam had arranged the meeting on purpose. He went up to Bill and greeted him warmly, smiled at him. He looked very happily and talked with me excitedly. That night , we had a great fun together.

After school, I was about to enter into my apartment then I saw a little dirty dog lying beside the dustbin. He looked extremely weak. Immediate the homeless dog filled me with sympathy. So I decided to take him home. I gave him some food and bath. After the bath he looked energy and refreshed. What a lovely dog!
When my parents got home, I asked that I could keep the dog. To my surprised and joy, they agreed. Up to now, he has become a member of our family and everyone had enjoyed his company. Looked at the cute and happy dog today, I realize that I was right to help him. We offered him a shelter and he has brought ourselves great happiness and laughter.

There are lots of versions of mooncakes all over China. They have a variety of fillings among that I love the red bean filling better.
I remember try my first mooncake as a kid. We sat in my grandmother’s yard while the full moon shines brightly. It was very special moment. My grandmother baked mooncakes for the whole family. She turned flour and red bean into wonderful mooncakes like magic. When she placed them on the table, they looked like small, round and golden-brown. The deliciously smell soon reached my nose. When she took each bite, the sweet and mild taste slowly filled my mouth.
The mooncake is always my favourite because of its good taste and the happy memories it bring to my mind.

This morning, when I look out of the window, I excitedly found it was snowing heavily. Attracting by the beautiful sight, I decided to go out to take some photo. The snow finally stopped at noon, and I couldn’t wait go outside with my camera. As I walked on the path in front of our building, I saw the boy suddenly slip on the snow-covered ground. It was at that moment when I realized what I should do. Immediate, I ran back home to get a broom and started to sweep the path. I worked so hard that I sweated a lot of. An hour late, the thick snow was cleared away. Looking at the clean path, my neighbors all smiled but gave me thumbs up. I felt happy that I did something for my neighborhood.

We will graduate from senior high. Last week, we decided to make a video, which theme is “Thank our mother school” in honor of our school.
Firstly, we hold a discussion about the procedure as to what to make it, such as the design and contents of it. Then, we were divided into two groups. One group took some typical photos in and around the schoolyard, while the others interviewed our teachers. Finally, we asked someone having a talent for computers edit the video. With everything doing, we played the video during the graduation ceremony. In our great joy, the video turned up to be a huge success.
I’ll watch the video and look back on our old days every time when I think of our school. I’ll remember our mother school for better.

To be honesty, it was my older brother that inspired my passion for the violin. When I was five years old, he came home from school one day with the violin and played it. I was green with envy and wanted to start immediate. My first violin is given by my violin teacher and I named it with the little dog called ToTo in The Wizard of Oz. Now, I am the youngest members of the Australian Youth Orchestra. Surrounded by many more older and more advanced players, I have no choice but try and keep up with their level of playing. I often invite some of my friends which are not so into classical music to a concert and he love it.

When I was a little kid, I dreamed of keep a dog as my pet and companion. My parents disagreed, saying that I was too young that I couldn’t take care of me, let alone a dog. I didn’t give up. Instead, I tried to be independence and often helped with housework. A few month later, my parents found that I had become more considerate than before. They finally approve of my request. On my eighth birthday, they bought me lovely dog as a gift. Followed my parents’ directions, I’ve learned how to raise the dog. I still miss those old days that we accompanied with each other.
