The concert will be giving from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the City Theatre by Ma Xiaohui, a famous Erhu performer. You’ll be able to enjoy some classic pieces, but I am sure you will fall in love with it.

Li Hua
I had been collecting the songs of the Beatles for an long time. The first time when I saw them on the television, I was immediately attracted by them. Actual, my favourite song is Yesterday, that is very sad. However, not all their songs is like that. Some are funny and cheerful, and some express original idea and have lovely tunes. It seem to have an ability to describe the hopes and fears of young people and communicate them. I’m sure their music will be remembering forever.

As some of these actors could not sing well enough, they had to rely on other musicians help them. So during the broadcasts they just pretend to sing. Anyhow their performances were humorously enough to be copied by other groups. They were so popular that their fan formed clubs in order to get more familiar with him. Each week on TV, the Monkees would play and sing songs writing by other musicians. However, after a year or so on which they became more serious about their work, the Monkees started to play and sing their own songs like the real band. Then they produced their own records and were started touring and playing their own music. It was in 1970 when the band broke up.

Music plays a important role in my life and listen to music is my favorite activity. Usually I preferred to express my feelings through music, and I like pop music best. I don’t like rock music because of I think it’s too noisily. When I am tired after studying or when I am nervous before exams, music helps me feel relaxing and fresh. I am not good at singing or I can play the piano and the violin. Besides, I am fond of listening to foreign song in order to learn more about the cultures of different countries as well learning about the world better. Music makes your life more colorful.

Music and songs play important part in our daily life. For example, they can bring us not only pleasant but also happiness. Besides, they can help us improve our study. I was fond of listening to songs and music very much, but my favorite song is Country Road. The lyrics and music brings me into a beautiful world in where I am loved and cared for by Grandma. What’s more, they often make me think of my wonderfully childhood which was spent in my hometown and I can still remember the games played with my young fellow. In a word, once enjoying, the song will never be forgotten. So I have to say I can’t thank music very much.

Today I will introduce three famous musician in the world. Known as “ the father of the symphony”, Joseph Haydn was an Austrian composer. It was him that changed the symphony into a long piece for a large orchestra. Hayden used to working at the court of a prince in eastern Austria, there he became a director of music. Having worked there for 30 years, he moved to London and became very successfully there. Mozart was another well-known Austrian composer, possibly the greater musical genius of all time. He passed away at an early age and composed no more than 600 pieces of music. Haydn met Mozart in 1781 and was very impressive with him. The third famous musician I will introduce is Beethoven, who was born in Bonn, Germany. He moved to Vienna and stayed there for rest of his life. As he grew older, he began to go deaf. Even when he was complete deaf, he continued composing.
