I want to say thanks to my English teacher. I once went through a hard time in my life, so I didn’t work hard at school. Then my English teacher talked to me for an hour. After the conversation, I decided to work harder. Thanks to her, I made the changes. I was too shy to say thanks to her face to face, so I thank her in this way.
—Steve
It happened on my way home after school. After I got on the bus, I couldn’t find my bus pass. What was worse, I didn’t take any money with me. When I was explaining my situation to the bus driver, a young man on the bus came to pay for my ticket. He got off the bus before I had time to thank him, so I want to thank him here.
—Peter
I want to thank a girl I met on the way to school. While I was riding my bike to school, I fell off my bike. I couldn’t stand up. A girl in our school uniform appeared. She helped me get up. Before I got a chance to say thanks to her, she’d gone away. I want to express my thanks for her help now.
