It took one year’s effort for the community to get used to the needs of their new friend. As time went by, Lily became more confident and she felt like she truly belonged.

Lily’s parents were excited to see the changes in their daughter. They were thankful to live in a community that made sure every child felt valued. Lily’s family had expressed their thanks for the positive influence Lily had to the community. She brought them closer together, developing a unity (团结) and compassion (同情心) they had never experienced before.

People of our community had not only raised a child but had also grown together, it becoming a shining example of hugging differences in our community.
