In 2020, China’s Chang’e 5 mission collected 1,731 grams of moon soil (土壤) and brought it to Earth. (A)China became the third country to collect moon soil after Russia and the United States. Air on the moon
In May, scientists from Nanjing University found that the soil on the moon might be useful for turning carbon dioxide (CO2) into oxygen (氧气) and fuel (燃料). The soil has some special chemicals in it. Like Supriyadi, around 80% of West Java’s population are in danger because of the polluted river. They depend on it for irrigation, washing and even drinking. Now the government has decided to take action again.
“We are not playing around this time,” said Djoko Hartoyo, a spokesman. “We hope to make the Citarum River’s water drinkable by 2025, just like it was 50 or 60 years ago.” It sounds impossible, but I do believe that doing something is always better than doing nothing.

To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, governments at every level in China have been using many different control measures.
In heavily affected areas, the government has chosen to lock down cities.In Hubei province, for example, after Wuhan’s lockdown on Jan 23, thirteen other cities in the province also take lockdown measures.The decision proved effective（有效的）in stopping the virus’ spread at its root, China Daily said.
In some villages, people put up red banners（条幅）or used loudspeakers to educate people about the virus. At my school in the UK, Design & Technology（D&T） is a very popular class. Unlike other subjects such as math, D&T is for students to design （设计） and make things to solve problems in real life.
This semester, my D&T teacher asked us to make a product. （A） I chose a bookshelf as it is one of the easiest things to make and it can be used in my room.
The project includes three stages: planning, modeling （建模） and manufacturing （制造）. During the modeling stage, we need to learn to use the software CAD to model the product before making a real shape of it. Manufacturing is the most important and time-consuming （耗时的） stage. Students need to build their product from the modeling draft （草图）, using materials the school provides like plywood （胶合板）, plastic and steel.
