Losing friends is about as easy as making friends if you don’t know how to deal with anger and conflict (冲突).     1     It shows up at school, at work and at home. It’s OK to feel angry, upset or sad. These feelings are natural.     2     Some people shout, call people’s names, or even hit the person who has hurt them. Others do their best to keep away from disagreements.     3    

    4     Before you start discussing the problem, calm down, count to 10 and imagine a relaxing place. Then, say what is really troubling you, but watch how you express yourself. Don’t complain (抱怨). Share how you feel by using “I...”. For example, don’t say “You are always ordering me to do this or to do that,” but “    5    ” You want people to hear your opinion so make sure you practice what you want to say. Listen carefully to the other person and accept that he or she might see the problem in a different way. Be open-minded and willing to say sorry.

2 . How can you clean up your bedroom? Here are some ways about how to clean up the bedroom. You can follow them.

Step 1: We usually have no tools to clean the bedroom. So we should look for at least two tools for the clean work at first. Then we can finish the work successfully.

Step 2: Put all the dirty clothes together, and put them in a bag. It’s very easy to do it. It usually takes us about ten minutes to finish it.

Step 3: If you have lots of clothes to fold, put them on the bed. Then you can do that after you finish the fourth step. You can do something to remind yourself to spend about twenty minutes putting away the clothes before you sleep.

Step 4: Put all the rubbish together and put it in a bag. Old magazines and old pair of shoes may be rubbish at home. We should throw away many different old things that we won’t use again. They will make us feel uncomfortable in such a mess. Sometimes they may smell bad.

Step 5: Make the bed. It’s a meaningful thing. You needn’t have a discussion about whether you make the bed or not. You need to do it at once. In fact, making the bed can make you feel comfortable and beautiful about your bedroom.

3 . In April this year, lots of bags full of small change were seen at bus stops in Tianjin. They were made for passengers to turn their notes (纸币) into small change. And such an idea came from four students from Zhongbei Middle School, Tianjin.

“People will surely feel worried when they take a bus without coins. We just want to do something to help them.” said Wang Yongcun, 15, one of the four students.

The four boys spent their whole weekend making the change bags. After that they went to see the number of the passengers at each bus stop near their school, and then chose the top six stops to put the bags.

Many people think that the four boys have really done a good job. But things didn’t go as the boys thought. Two days later, they found that the money was gone, and that even the bags were missing. It really made them sad but they would not give up. Their classmates and teachers came to help them in time. They put their pocket money in bags again. And the teachers also taught them to make better change bags. They tried their best to do it.

The four boys feel very happy because they have done something good for the passengers. Their warm hearts are moving. More and more people are beginning to join in the activity.

Mananne Krutsch started to learn Chinese when she was 2. “I’m leaning Chinese because I like my teachers and classmates.     1     I want to know more about it,” says Mananne, now 13.

There are many students like Mananne.     2     Now they are learning it out of their love for Chinese culture (文化). And they are from Chicago Intercultural Montessori Language School.

The school started in 2009. More than 100 students there are taking Chinese classes.     3     And then Americans who did business (生意) with China joined in. “They want to make sure that their children know how to speak Chinese,” says Roderick Shaw, the head of the school.

    4     “We don’t want to just teach Chinese. We want to make sure that the students can feel the culture of China,” Shaw says. “It tries to build the bridge so that we all will know each other better. This is what our school does.”
