When I was a child, I hope to live in the city. I think I would be happy here. Now I am living in a city, but I miss my home in the countrysides. The air is clean or the mountains are green. Unfortunately, on the development of industrialization, the environment has been polluted. Lots of studies have shown that global warming has already become a very seriously problem. The airs we breathe in is getting dirtier and dirtier. Much rare animals are dying out. We must found ways to protect your environment. If we fail to do so, we’ll live to regret it.

World Wetlands Day, celebrating annually on 2 February, aims to increase aware and understanding of the importance of wetlands to humans and the globe. It also spreads information about what valuable wetlands are and encourages individuals and governments to take actions to prevent their loss. The day was first organized by a group of environmentalist who wanted to celebrate and protect wetlands.
Wetlands are ecosystems which water is the primary factor controlling the environment and the associated plant and animal life. Wetlands are disappearing at a rate three times fast than forests, making them the Earth’s most threatened ecosystems. Human activities, such as agriculture development, urbanization, pollution, overfishing and climate change, have contributed the loss of wetlands.
Actions needed to save the world’s wetlands from disappearing and restore those we have already lost. That’s because of wetlands provide critical habitats for a vast variety of wildlife, offering valuable opportunities for outdoor recreation, and play a crucial role in flood control.
The environment pollution was more and more serious today. We have no clean water to drink it because of water pollution. And when trees cut down, some animals disappear. There is more and more dirty smoke in the air. People’s health has been great affected by air, noise and water pollution. Many people have died of diseases causing by pollution. In order to live the better life, it’s time for us to protect our world. We should recycle, reduce and reuse things, what saves money and reduces pollution. Use things so long as possible. Don’t use plastic bag. Besides, we must plant more trees and stop people cutting it down. We hope our world will be more and more beautiful.

Plastic bags can be found everywhere, that results in a great waste of resources and heavy environmentally pollution.
Luckily, the government has put a nationwide ban the use of free plastic bags, demanding all stores and supermarkets not provided customers with free plastic bags. The rule will undoubtedly reduce the use of plastic bags and enhance the aware of environmental protection.
As students, we should do your part to cut back on the use of plastic bags. For example, we had better to have meals in our canteen instead of bring food back with plastic bags. It is also high advocated that we should turn to cloth bags or shopping baskets from then on.

These days, breaking traffic rules and littering is not uncommon, what causes serious harm to life and the environment. Changing this situation requires everyone effort. As for me, it should start on the way school. If I ride a bicycle, I’ll always keep ridden along the right and never cross a road until the traffic light turns green. If I walk, I’ll never forget to get use the zebra crossing. Meanwhile, I’ll regard them as my duty to help keep our environment clean and healthily.
Not only will I keep from littering but spitting anywhere, but I’ll help clean up the roadside litter whenever possible. I hoped my behaviour will make a difference.

One day, I was taking the walk in my neighbourhood. There was a great many dogs playing around. I noticed a small one which hairs were pure white. It was a smart dog I couldn’t take my eye off. At that moment a little boy came up and wanted to play with him. Never before had the dog saw the boy, so it started to run after him or barked. In panic, the boy begged the dog not bite him. It was so much lucky that the dog’s owner soon took it away. Now, I still have no idea when the small dog suddenly attacked him.

Environmental problem are becoming more and more serious all over the world. For an example, we are using up the earth’s natural resources such as water, oil but natural gas. At the same time, we are polluting the environment with harmless chemicals and greenhouse gases, what has caused everyone on the planet great concern. We need to take action preserve our environment. You can conserve water, reduce the use of plastic bags and containers, and conserved energy. We can also plant more trees and flowers to beautify our environment. Last month, our school launched a campaign which intention was to promote environmental protection. The campaign lasted for one week. Firstly, there is a photo display to show the seriously pollution caused by human activities. Secondly, there was a lecture on many small step that we could take in our daily life to protect environment. For example, taking the bus or use the bike-sharing system would be a good way. Last but not least, we students were encouraged to decorating our classrooms with recycled materials. Through the campaign, we have been learned a lot. I was taking a walk with my mother while I noticed some litter on the sidewalk on last Monday. I knew it was time to take action. So on their way home, we decided to doing some clean-up work. I took a picker and my mother hold a big rubbish bag. Together we did litter pickup on the sidewalk. I was surprising that the bag filled up so quickly. Then we threw into the roadside dustbin and repeated the process two more time. It gave us a sense of achieve to know we did what we could for Mother Earth. We were determined to do so consistent, maybe once a week.
