Last Sunday, our school held the sports activity in order to developed our awareness of fitness. That morning, all the students and teachers had gathered on the playground. Then the headmaster announced the begin of the opening ceremony. After the opening ceremony, all kinds of events started one after others. The playground was alive with excitement. That drew the most attentions was a competition between students and teachers. Since then, the teacher-student relationship has been strengthened, but so has the awareness of sportsmanship. I’m convincing that the unforgettable activity will get us prepared a better future both mentally and physically.

High school is regarded as best time of my life. Beside classes and homework, there’s something more that I especial treasure. To leave school without regret, I’ll make the best of my limiting time to go over the lessons I’ve learned from. At the same time, I’d like to show my thanks to all the teacher who have given me so many help. For the purpose of improving me, I’ll ask my classmates for some advice, that may be of great value to me. Last but not least, doing some good deeds for my classmates was also my plan. With these things done, I will have no regret in my high school life.

I was frightening on my first day of classes at an American university. It was my first time to sit with such many Americans in a classroom. Unlike many other classmate, I sat quietly by myself. My teacher spoke fast and I had a hard time understanding him. There is no doubt that English is a hardest thing I experienced so far. Because I’m a Chinese student, communicate fluently with Americans can be really difficult. However, I have to struggle to understand that is being said in class. Reading and writing are equally as more important as listening and speaking. When my classes started to get busier, I found that harder to finish the passages. That’s when a real disaster struck.

On Women’s Day, my father and I planned to give my mother surprise. We did something specially for her. Know that she was always unwilling to buy herself anything, we decided to buy him a perfect gift. In the shop, the shop assistant introduced a beautiful necklace, what I thought was the very thing for my mother. However, we bought it without hesitations. The moment we take out the necklace, my mother was very surprised that she could not say a word. This is my great pleasure that my mother likes the gift. I hope my mother will be happy and healthy forever.

Hello, everyone! I would like to share my travel experience for you. Last summer, ours school had an exchange programme with an American school, but I took part in it with many classmates. We stay at host families, that gave us an opportunity to learn more about America. The main part of our programme was to experience the school life in the America. Compare with Chinese students, American students were very open and active. Besides, they had less homeworks and fewer exams. During the visit, I made friends with some American students, who were very interesting in Chinese culture. I think the programme is of great benefit to us as well the American students.

I like travelling and my dream of visit Beijing, the capital city of our country, come true during National Day this year. In October 1st, I went to Tian’anmen Square with my parents, which we watched the flag-raising ceremony. As I watched flag rising slowly, I sang the national anthem, feeling extremely exciting. Then we went to some other famous tourist attraction, like the Great Wall. Standing on the Great Wall, I felt very proudly. I thought of the old saying that “One who fail to reach the Great Wall is not a hero.” Although I was tired, but I really had a good time.

Nowadays, the great number of people, especially young people, like ordering meals online. It’s not surprised. First, as the pace of modern life is becoming faster and faster, people had less time to cook even one meal for themselves. Second, the development of technology bring us smart phones and new apps, what may lead to the increase in online service. However, we should pay more attention to food. As we all know it, our health is closely related to what we eat. Although the service provides us convenience, we must take the food safety into considerate. Home-made food is cleaner and healthy, so I prefer to cook food at home rather than ordering meals online.

The other day, we moved to the new school yard, where lies in the far north of the city. We were all on high spirits. It is much big than the old one. The classrooms are bright and clean. We have a lot of modern equipment, making convenient for students to learn every subject. Now we can have a lot of after-class activity in the new playground. Our teachers often play the basketball and soccer together with us. As spring approached, the flowers newly planting in the yard have just come out. With such many green trees and fragrant flowers around, we feel it less hardly to study and our school life more enjoyable.
