Yesterday I was very busy with deliveries and collections so I was determined take today at a slight slower pace. I join a Zoom call this morning to discuss and write in flash fiction. Before the call, I was listening to a speech about love, who I listened to last year and the host was discussing how we could love people who comes from a different culture to our own. The man spoke about Native American Initiation Ceremonies in their speech. I had written the flash story the other day but I mentioned Native American ceremonies in the story. So it was good to be reminding where the idea had come from.

Last week, I went to Xi’an with two friend. We were excited about a trip. We spent third hours taking the train to Xi’an Railway Station. At first, we were confused about what to get out of the railway station. And then we saw a sign, which led them to take the subway. When we got to the subway station, some advancing ticket machines appeared in front of us, we bought our tickets quickly. When we were on the subway, we never thought it was such fast. Last Saturday, I was left alone at home, struggle with my history homework. To seek inspiration, I decided to hang out. I was wandering around the town center while I discovered a museum. Walking in, I saw some ancient fishing equipments on display. Then I went one floor up. That drew my attention were some old tape machines I have never seen before. Yesterday, when Chen Hui was pouring hot water, he poured a lot into his wrist by accident. Although he felt great pain, but he didn’t know what to do. I happened to see this and immediate gave him first aid. Firstly, I asked him place the burns under running water for 10 minutes. After that, I put some cloth in cold water, squeezed the water out and placed them on the burning area over and over again. Finally, I covered the burns with the clean bandage. Last Saturday morning, our school invite an old craftsman, Mr. Liu, to teach us by how to make Chinese traditional kites. At the beginning of the class, he showed us the wonderful kites he had made, that impressed us a lot. Then he explained us the basic steps and skills of making kites. We stood around him, listen to his instructions and watching attentively. Before that, we started making kites on us own. Mr. Li walked around and helped us patient.
