Last Friday was the day where I watched the event of the Textbook Drama Performances held in the hall of our school in the evening. The wholly school watched the performances. During the event, the students from 15 classes acted out those famous story from the textbooks, was including Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It and so on. After the performances, all the students sing high praise for the actors and actresses but said that they learnt a lot from the event.
My favorite performance is Romeo and Juliet. I am touched by the beautiful love between themselves. I think this event is great significance to us. It lets us knowing more about the famous works of the world and increases our interested in English literature.

It is real a good chance to have met all of you here. We have spent several precious weekend in learning in the English Club. Last Saturday, my dad and I took a bus to a village. Uncle Paul, my dad friend, picked us up or drove us to his farm. We spent the night in a guest room, listen to the frogs and water rolling down the river nearby. Very early on the morning, Uncle Paul woke us up to have breakfasts. Last week I went to a movie, which was very moved. It was a sadly movie about a mother and her son. Last weekend, my sister and I climbed a mountain. We took a bus and arrived at there at 8 am. In the beginning, we were excited, enjoyed the beautiful scenery, talking and joking. But after a while, we felt tiring, so we sat on the stairs but had a rest. The soft wind sweep my face, and I felt all my tiredness disappeared. Climbing to top of the mountain made myself feel a sense of achievement.

I'm very glad to learn what a Chinese Culture Week activity will be holding in your school. It's a great chance for you gain a better understanding of Chinese culture. And I'm willing to offer my advice.
First, a paper-cutting exhibition is the really good option. As a traditional Chinese art, paper-cutting includes different themes such as like plants, animals and story. Holding a Chinese calligraphy competition can also raise people's interest but impress them with the beauty of Chinese characters. In additional, lectures about Chinese history, architecture, poetry, or even food, is surely welcome.

Our school lies at the foot of a mountain with a small river passes by. It used to be a quiet, clean or beautiful place. It is a pity that things have changed since a chemical factory built near our school one year ago. Every one day the factory produces many waste water and some other solid waste things. The terribly pollution is harmful by our health. What's worse, the great noise from the factory had a bad effect on us activities. As a result, our school is no longer that it used to be. High school is considered the most important stage in one’s life. As a senior one student, it won’t be long when I graduate. Now I have many things to share about my fellows. First of all, I’d like to express my thank to those who lent me a hand when I was disappoint. It was their kindness which helped me regain my self-confidence when I lost my heart. Besides, I anxious to clear up some misunderstandings with my friends in order to keep our friendships forever. The National College Entrance Examination（高考） approached, I strongly recomend that we could value time and redouble efforts to study so that we can get into an university that we have been dreaming of.
