Last term I have attended online lessons. Get up at seven, I logged onto DingTalk and communicated with teachers actively. Some of my classmate paid little attention to the lectures. Although autumn leaves are very beauty all around the world, the colorful leaves in Beijing’s Xiangshan Park is really unique. The explosion of colors across the park is an amazed sight that only Mother Nature can provide. Each autumn, people in Beijing will squeeze in their last gatherings in the park after winter settles in. It is a perfect season for outdoor exploration with some of their friend. Last weekend we go mountain climbing. Even the heavy rain in the morning could not prevent us going. Set off very early，we went along an extreme narrow road，all in high spirits. On every side of the road was green fields and some farm houses. We could hear the sound of the rain and our footsteps mixing with our laughter. At noon we reached the top of the mountain. That surprised us most there was the beauty of scenes. After having short rest there and sharing with the food we had brought，we started going down. It rained even harder. In the past two years, a growing number ot students felt stressed out. Some even suffered from depression and that they had nobody to turn to. Yesterday I was very busy with deliveries and collections so I was determined take today at a slight slower pace. I belonged to a writers’ group and I joined a Zoom call this morning to discuss and write in some flash fiction. Before the call, I was listening to a speech about Loving who I listened to last year and the hosts were discussing how we can love people who comes from a different culture to our own. One host spoke about Native American Initiation Ceremonies in their speech. I had written the flash story earlier but I mentioned Native American ceremonies in the story. To enrich the residents’ lives, our community organized the activity last Saturday. It was about making zongzi. About two hundred people took part in the activity. Men and women, old and young, all show great interest in it. When we were arrived, we saw some long tables in a row with rice and bamboo leaves on it. Under a teacher’s guidance, we made zongzi one after another careful. In the end, we were allowed take zongzi home. Having ate zongzi made by ourselves, I had a feeling of prides. There is no doubt whether labor is the most glorious. Only by work hard can we achieve real happiness.
