The other day, I was invited my friend Sam’s home for dinner. I felt a bit surprising when I saw Bill there. It was two month since we two had quarreled, so I was embarrassed and didn’t know how to do. I sat down on the sofa but began to watch TV. Later Sam came to ask me to make up with Bill. Until then I realize that Sam had arranged the meeting on purpose. He went up to Bill and greeted him warmly, smiled at him. He looked very happily and talked with me excitedly. That night, we had a great fun together.

This morning, I went to school by bicycle as usual. As I am listening to my favourite music with a headphone on my head, I didn’t notice a car parked on the roadside. I struck the car who owner was not in it and left a scar on it. Damaging to some degree, the car would have to be repaired. Thinking that I would have classes, and I left a note with my name and address to let a driver know what had happened.

Later in the afternoon, while they were having a class meeting, our headmaster brought a stranger to our class. He was the car owner. He explained the class the whole story and praised me. Both my teacher and classmate were impressed and pride of my honesty. I think honesty should be value most by us.

Henry entered into a restaurant and ordered some food. The waiter said the food would cost a large amount of money. Henry ate as a wolf and ordered much beer. Then Henry asked for the same food again. The waiter and owner became amazing. They decided to take chance and bring all the food he wanted. After finished the meal, Henry waited before it was two o’clock. He opened the envelope and show them a million pound bank note. They were extreme shocked. They had thought Henry who was in rag didn’t have money to afford the meal. They became very polite and told Henry to go there when he liked and forget the bill.

During the past ten years, I have been suffered from terrible headaches. And it seems to be getting bad. Late last night, I got a sudden headache that was worse than all the others. It was so terrible that I could hardly bear them. Although I took all kinds of painkillers, but I didn’t feel any better. It seemed that there was nothing else I could do, because I called my doctor and asked him to come over. One of our neighbors happens to be with us at the time. He was not doctor, but he offered his help, “Do you mind if I try a special kind of traditional Chinese treatment for you? These needle might help with your headaches.” I agreed. He quickly took out a few needles from his bag. Without a moment’s delay, he put a few needles into the skin on my head in several different places. Before long, I felt complete good.

Last Saturday afternoon we take part in a voluntary activity called “Clean Home”, which was organizing by our school. We got to the People’s Square in our town but then handed out leaflets to passers-by to remind them of the importance of protect the environment and cleaning their homes. The leaflets were used to calling on people to start with ourselves. Some students made out public speeches to tell people to take action immediate. All of us really learned lot from the voluntary activity and it offered us an opportunity to make some differences to the society.

Last year, I went to Hainan Island with my friends and stay there for two days. Hainan Island, a beautiful tourist attraction, located on the south of China, is well know for its beautiful blue sea and pleasant beaches with golden sands. On the first day, they went to the seaside and hiked here. It was so exciting for me to walking on the sands, leaving me some unforgettable memory. On the second day, we had some local food but sweet fresh juice. We spent that night in a tent, which was made us happy. In a word, we had good holiday on Hainan Island.

I live in the country and my father was a farmer. He is now forty-five year old. Because of years of hard work, he looks old than his age. When I was young, he is used to tell me the important of study. Father knows little about English and other subjects, but he usually gives me some good advices on how to learn my lessons good. He is not only kind to me but also very strict in me. With his help, I’ve made great progress. I’ll never to forget what he taught me. I think my father is best father in the world.

I’m so sorry that I didn’t attend the lecture on British literature in this Sunday morning. Now, I am writing to express the reasons.

An old classmate of me came to see me that day. We have not seen each other for quite a long time but I had promised to meet him at the railway station. He was not familiar to this city. As you know, I’m deep interested in British literature, so it was really a pity to miss lecture. But I wonder if I could borrow the record or have a copy of the PPT. It would mean so many to me to learn that was covered in the lecture. With best wish!

One day, I had to take a flight. Even though I was worried about it, I knew I had to go. I went to the airport and boarded the plane. An old woman sat down besides me. She smiles at me. The plane was ready take off and I was feeling extreme nervous. I was such nervous that I was sweating and my hands were shaking. The plane started to pick up the speed. I was just about to grab someone’s hand while the old woman grabbed my hand and said, “I’m so scaring. Can I hold your hand?” Well, I was shocked and said, “Okay.” We held each other hands tightly. The plane took off and climbed into the sky. Soon the plane settled down. The flight went along very well. The old lady and I talked about everything what you could imagine.
