Patience is of great important in our daily life. Once I waited for a bus come at a stop.30 minutes passed，but no bus came. Both upset and annoyed，I decided to walk on feet. But no sooner had I left when the bus arrived. I thought if I had waited for one more minute，I would have caught it. If I chose to take a next bus，I would have to wait for other 30 minutes. Only then do I realize my problem. Being impatient will possible waste all the effort that we have put it in. Now whenever I am close to lose my patience，I'll think of this experience.
My cousin George and I went on a trip to my uncle yesterday. We were riding along a hillside while suddenly some big stones were rolled down and knocked us off our bikes. George’s legs got seriously injure and so did mine. We couldn’t move a bit. Lucky, I saw some farmers ahead. Wave our hands, we cried for help like crazy. On hearing us, they run to the spot as fast as they could. Thanks their help, we were all sent to a nearby hospital and received medical treatment in time. Although we don’t know their name, we feel they are like our dear big brothers and sisters.
It was on Sunday so I didn’t have to go to school as usual. My parents went to the countryside to see my grandparents, left me alone. After finishing my homeworks, I began to play football at home. All of sudden, I kicked the ball so hardly that it flew right onto a vase and broke it. It was a great favorite of my mother’s. I decided to tell my parents it was the fault of the cat for fear that she might punish me. Therefore, when they got home, I hesitated for a moment and told them that truly happened. Instead of punishing me, they just hope that I would never make so a foolish mistake again.
Last Friday, our class was invited a well-known artist to teach us what to draw flowers in Chinese painting.
As soon as an artist came into the classroom, he was given a warmly welcome. All of us wore big smiles. First, he shows us some skills of drawing a flower. We watched him carefully but each of us tried doing it by ourselves. Finally, because of my excellent performance, I was awarded “Outstanding Young Artist”. Look at the award, I felt very excited.
Through this experience, we are both amazed at Chinese painting and proud being Chinese. We hope we can have more activity of this kind in the future!
On snowy winter night, a bus with 45 passenger had an accident because of the wet road. And all of them were trapping in the bus and what’s worse, the bus runs out of gas and it was very cold in it. They could do nothing but to wait for help. A man who lived nearby saw that had happened. He and some villagers succeeded in open the door and helped all of them out of the bus. He took them to his home but offered food and water and even some warm clothes to the children. They spent two days in their home and finally help came. All of them were thankfully for his help.
I finished my junior middle school in boarding school. At first, I felt very lonely because I hardly know anybody. I couldn’t get on well with my classmates and just looked forward to go back home to meet my parents. I even couldn’t concentrate on my subjects. As time went by, besides, I gradually got used to the school life. I made many new friends or often took part in activities, in that I improved my communicating skills. As I had a lot of interested things to do, I finally enjoyed with my school life. Now, whenever I think of my first boarding school experience, I think of them as being instructive and unforgettably.
Last year, Wang Tao’s school calls on all the students to make good use of their time and do socially practice in the holiday. Wang Tao found a job in the small restaurant. He thought it would be easy, so actually it turned out to be hard. He spent on the whole morning washing dishes and setting tables. He didn’t have lunch until 2 pm. After lunch，he set out to work at once，do the same things until 11 pm. He worked more than ten hour every day! After days of work, she came to understand the value of hard work. He also realized what difficult it was for his parents to support their family. From then on, Wang Tao was determined study hard to repay his parents.
It was extreme cold last Monday morning. While I was walking on my way to school, I noticed two street cleaner sweeping the street. Seeing them work so hard on such a cold morning, I was moved and made up my mind do something for them. After arriving at school, I discussed with some classmates that we could do. The next day, they got up early and prepared porridge (粥) at home. When we handed the cleaners with the hot porridge and expressed our appreciation for their hard work, they looked a little surprising at first. And then they takes the porridge and thanked us happily. Since it was very cold, we all fell warm at that moment.
Last week, my teacher told us about our school’s speech contest, which topic was “My Hero”. I thought of my grandpa would be my perfect topic. Then I carefully prepared for a contest. A couple of weeks late, after the first round I chosen to be one of the seven finalists! The final was held soon. I was the sixth to giving the speech. After I finished it, I saw the; audience discussing and wondered what they were saying. After the last person finished, the judge made their final decisions and announced that I win first prize. The audience were going wildly, clapping and cheering! I was extremely happy. It was such exciting a moment that I would always remember it.
This morning I walked into a small store just for quick look. There I found a little girl hold a large colorful toy. She eager asked her father to buy it for her. However, her father said no to him because he couldn’t afford it, what made the girl sad and disappointed. The girl was accepted her father’s decision and cried in silence. When the father went to the other end of the store to look at something, I asked him whether I could buy the toy and gave it to his daughter. He got surprised for a few minute but finally agreed. I did what I had promised but then left the store.
