Last October,we have had a series of reading activities.In the first two weeks,we read some great books.Among these books,I like The Old Man and the Sea better,from which I've learned never to give up when facing with difficulties.In the afternoon of October 18,we held a poetry contest.I recited a poem written by me and won first prize.At the end of the month,we acted out some famous work.My classmates and I performed The Million Pound Bank Note.But to our great delight,our performance was huge success.We both enjoyed such reading activities,wish to read more great books in the future.

My history teacher, together with my classmates were invited to visit our city museum yesterday. That morning, we gathered at our school gate, which we took a bus to go to our destination. We first went to see an exhibition hold in the museum. After entering in the exhibition hall, we listened o the guider’s introduction careful. We also took photo when admiring the objects. Then, we attended lecture about history there, through which we get a better understanding of our nation. I was very impressed with this visit for I told my teacher I made up our mind to learn history well.
