In order to learn more about Chinese history and raise their cultural awareness, we were organized to have a trip to our local history museum on last Sunday.

Locating in the southern part of our city, the museum is one of most frequently visited attractions for its various ancient exhibits. We see items from different times, that showed us the history behind. Beside, we not only heard a lot of interesting stories and learned about the lifestyle of ancient people.

Surrounded by these historic object, we were proud of our nation’s civilization achievements. This was an unforgettably experience.

Dear Mary,

A Chinese Classics Reciting Contest will take place in their school. Known that you are really into Chinese culture, I’m writing to invite you to participate it.

The contest will be holding in the school lecture hall from 2 pm to 4 pm on the afternoon of April 15. All the competitor are required to read Chinese poems or essays within the five minutes. Beside, the forms of the activity could be various, that involve reading or reciting on your own, in pairs or groups. The prizes will go to the top five students.
