World Wetlands Day, celebrating annually on 2 February, aims to increase aware and understanding of the importance of wetlands to humans and the globe. It also spreads information about what valuable wetlands are and encourages individuals and governments to take actions to prevent their loss. The day was first organized by a group of environmentalist who wanted to celebrate and protect wetlands.
Wetlands are ecosystems which water is the primary factor controlling the environment and the associated plant and animal life. Wetlands are disappearing at a rate three times fast than forests, making them the Earth’s most threatened ecosystems. Human activities, such as agriculture development, urbanization, pollution, overfishing and climate change, have contributed the loss of wetlands.
Actions needed to save the world’s wetlands from disappearing and restore those we have already lost. That’s because of wetlands provide critical habitats for a vast variety of wildlife, offering valuable opportunities for outdoor recreation, and play a crucial role in flood control.

This summer I take a trip to the undersea world, which turned out extreme fantastic.
The first thing I became aware was all the vivid colors surrounding me. Seeing so extraordinary beauty, I found my heart beat wildly and every cell in my body waking up. I began to explore the fantastic coral. Suddenly, I caught a sight of an eel (鳗鱼) with its heads showing from a hole watching for tasty food. I felt scared to death but fled away. Late in the evening I was walking in the park. Suddenly I heard screams coming from behind the bushes. I stopped listening and understood that a girl attacked. I heard sounds of fighting. For several moments I was hesitating that I should get involved, but I was frightened and worried about my own safe.
Then I realized that the girl’s voice became more weaker, so I knew I had to act quickly. The next moment, I ran behind the bushes and pulled the attacker off the girl. We fell to the ground and fought with each other for several minute. Then the attacker jumped up and ran away.
Breathing hardly, I slowly came up to the girl. It was dark, but I could not see her face clearly. I felt that she was very frightened. I told her she is safe now. After a few seconds I heard her words with the great surprise in her voice. And then I realized that the girl was my youngest daughter.

Nowadays, many students are worshipping stars so blind that they don’t care about how the stars do. It is really a pity that some fans lose them in the process.

To better file my papers, I bought the hole punch (打孔器). It's simply but useful. I don't think that necessary to punch a row of holes on one side, but I only punch holes at the corner of each piece of paper. Then I sort out every subject and different kind of papers. I find it's quite efficient when they review before exams. Not only can the hole punch improve on my learning efficiency but also makes me form the habit of tidying my room.
