Generally spoken, I’m a person who have the ability to control myself. Whether at school or at home, I can be aware of the dos and don’ts and always focus on my study, so I am one of the top student in my class. Besides, whenever I face with something or somebody unpleasant, I can calm down and in this way I can get along good with others.

As my mum’s birthday approached, I was considering give her a unique gift. Finally, I decided to make short video to celebrate her fifty birthday. To do this successful, I did short interviews with my other family members or her friends, in which they all wished her a happy birthday. I include their birthday wishes in the video. Then, I added some photo and music to it and did some editing work. All this was done without my knowledge. On the day when I played the video for her, she was too touched that she gave me a warm hug. How happy I was to bring about joy to my mum!

Our annual sports day, held earlier this month, was full fun and excitement. The entirely school, including the playground, was decorated with flags and flowers. Many boys and girls took part in the event. The games have included football and basketball matches, races, jumps and other track event. I took part in the 50m and 100m races or received a silver cup in the former. The 100m race, which was very excited, was won by my friend Mansoor. Last Sunday I participated in the exciting outdoor activity with my friends. We go hiking in the mountains nearby, and it was a pleasant experience. We got up early than usual to pack our backpacks with water, food and other necessary thing. When we got there, we started with our hike. The path was challenging, but the scenery was amazed. As we hiked, we chatted, laughed, and encouraging each other. We also had breaks and took photos. When they finally completed the hike, we were tired out but happy. I was extreme delighted to spend time with my friends in nature and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. It was an unforgettable walk indeed, I can’t wait to have another chance to hike with them.

There are some places in our school where attract students most. I am very interesting in reading so my favorite place is the library. This was the first day of my trip to Canada with my mother. After a long flight of 14 hours, we finally reached to Toronto Airport at 7:40 p.m. local time. We live in my mother’s friend’s house. Since there are only two grandparents at home, the house is large with three floors. They even have a lift fix inside. There is a big and beautiful garden outside house, where they plant various flowers and plants. There is also a peach tree full of peach in the garden. A little squirrel (松鼠) can be seen climb up and down the tree happily. The tail of the little creature is really big, like a broom. This is the first time I had seen a cute squirrel so close. That I have seen here makes me feel extreme wonderful!
