1 . I travel a lot. Each month, I pack up my suitcase to hit the road, whether it could be by plane, train, or automobile. I always find myself with the same problem—how to stay healthy while traveling?     1

Move around.

Though only about 1 in 4, 500 airplane passengers develop a blood clot(血块), you should still make efforts to move around on the plane, just standing in the aisle or by taking a walk to the toilet. Have a layover(中途停留)? Instead of sitting, make sure to walk around the airport. Taking a road trip? Make plenty of stops to move around.     2     Whether it is working out at your hotel, taking hikes, or giving up public transport to walk, you’ll feel much better if you get in some activity.

Prepare snacks smartly.

3     Though these seem like a convenient choice, they’re not the healthiest. I like to pack snacks that are within my calorie budget for the day and 100 calories or under each. When traveling and buying food, I try to choose fresh fruit and vegetables. Is fast food the only choice if you’re very hungry? Stick to something simple and whatever you do, don’t supersize.

    4

Because of low humidity on planes, many of us can find ourselves feeling thirstier than ever. Drink more water. Make sure when traveling on day trips to carry water with you at all times.     5    As a result, you will eat more healthily throughout the day.

A.Eat, eat, eat.
B.Drink, drink, drink.
C.Here are some practical tips.
D.Once you get to your location, don’t forget to do exercise.
E.Water will also help you to be able to stay full between meals.
F.While at the airport or on road trips, you’ll pass countless fast restaurants.

Sticking to a vegan diet might sound difficult. But in recent years, veganism(素食主义)has become a more popular lifestyle in many places.     1     In the UK, about 542,000 people turned vegan during the last decade.

So why exactly has veganism become so popular?     2     The heat used to keep barns(畜棚)warm, the machines that process meat and even the animals' farts(屁)can result in more greenhouse gases. These factors are believed to account for 18 percent of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions, according to a 2013 study by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization.     3     A growing number of people are also deciding that it's wrong to kill animals for food, according to BBC News. Jess Murray, 22, is a student from London. He said that humans do not need to eat animals to survive. 10 . You might feel full after having a big meal. But you may actually suffer from“hidden hunger”. This means that what you eat may fill your stomach, but it's not giving you the proper nutrition (营养) that your body needs.

This happens when food lacks the vitamins (维生素) and minerals (矿物质). They are what people need to keep healthy, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

At present, “hidden hunger”affects 2 billion people worldwide. These people include 300 million people in China. It is most commonly seen among children and teenagers. It can also result in a bad immune system (免疫系统), blindness or even death, China News Service reported.

Many Chinese people don't get enough iron (铁), calcium (钙), vitamin A and vitamin D. One main reason is that agricultural products don't have much of these nutrients. Many of the processed foods that people enjoy eating today, such as chips, burgers and cookies, have made the situation worse. Vitamins and minerals are easily lost when these foods are processed, People's Daily noted.

In response, China's government has created several action plans to improve public health. It also develops and promotes nutritious foods.

Eating more fresh nutrition-rich food like vegetables, whole grains and milk can help us keep healthy. For vegetables like carrots and broccoli (西兰花), boiling and steaming, can better preserve (保留) their nutrition when compared with frying them, CNN suggests.
