1 . AI (人工智能) can help teenagers and students learn in several ways.
Personalized (个性化的) learning: AI can know better about students, including their advantages, weaknesses, skills, learning favorites and learning needs. Then it can create a proper learning plan for each student. This can help students concentrate on areas that they need to improve at their own speed.
Interactive (交互的) learning: AI has the ability to make learning more interactive and interesting. Things like interactive learning apps and educational games can make subject learning more interesting. What’s more, they can make students interested in a subject at once. This kind of active learning is sure to be more helpful than studying alone.
Automated (自动的) advice and help: AI can provide automated advice and answers to questions. It can examine students’ work and provide personalized help. For example, ChatGPT can answer students’ questions quickly in a private, low-pressure way. This kind of advice and answers can help students better understand knowledge and use their knowledge.
Greater resources (资源): AI can make many of the students’ learning resources richer and wider, like electronic textbooks, online courses, and study apps. For example, a biology textbook with AI technology may provide interactive 3D models of a human body that students can study more carefully. AI can provide interactive examples, introduce important passages, and offer assessments (评价).
In a word, AI has a great ability to improve studying and learning. By using AI, students can study smarter and reach higher levels of learning and success. The future of AI in education is hopeful as technologies continue to develop.

What would life be like if you were a rock singer, a football player, a university professor (教授) or a Nobel Prize winner? Carolyn Bertozzi from the US lives such a cool life!
Bertozzi won the prize for studying the sugar coats of cells (细胞糖衣). She has created a smart way to connect cells by connecting their sugar coats. The cells then have a green color so that scientists can see clearly where they are and how they move. This finding offered a foundation (基础) for different fields of applications (应用), such as developing better tests for infectious diseases (传染病) and new treatments for cancer.
Though Bertozzi had made great achievements, she said she was not very interested in chemistry until her second year at university. She remembered that her university professors made the class very difficult on purpose and her classmates complained (抱怨) a lot. However, it matched her brain.
In addition to doing science studies, Bertozzi has lived a colorful life. She was a keyboarder in a band. She also played football and won a sports scholarship (体育奖学金).
As a female scientist, Bertozzi tries to advance gender equality (性别平等). In the late 1980s, only 10 percent of the students at university were female. There were maybe one or two women in a lab, so she tried to start a monthly get-together for all the women students in the department to give them support.
