Life without a hobby is like food without salt. I have much hobbies like drawing, gardening and reading, among what my favorite is gardening.
I enjoy tending my plants but watering them every day, which gives me sense of achievement and satisfaction. Additionally, the beauty of flowers makes me relaxing. Last weekend, my classmates and I participated in a picking activity on the Dongshan Farm, which turned out to being meaningful and unforgettable. A farm is famous and attractive, covered with a various of fruit trees and colorful flowers. Many animals are raised here as well. We divided into several groups in advance, but upon arrival, we got down to work immediately. Some picked peaches, some filled in the baskets and other carried them to the trucks. What a busy scene! We had a shortly break after lunch and then went on working until 5:00 pm. About 6:30 pm, we all returned to home, exhausted but happy. It is through this activity which I have realized how important teamwork is. I will benefit from this experience forever.

Last summer, I go to my friend’s village and watched Qinqiang, a kind of opera once popular in Shaanxi and neighboring provinces around them. The atmosphere there were very lively and pleasant. As the Internet becomes the more and more popular, some students can’t help play online games or chatting. It was not only a problem of wasting time, but also a seriously problem which does harm to their health. Which teachers should do first is to find out what makes them addicting to computer games. Lack of love from his parents? Poor test scores? Parents can have a heart-to-heart talk with them. Secondly, teacher should help them build up their confidence but make them interested in studies. Thirdly, find something else for them to do instead playing computer games.
