Last month our school held a Reading Week, which aim was to encourage the students to read wide. During the week, book lovers recommended a plenty of good books which were suitable to high school students. In addition, two famous writers are invited to give lectures on how to understand and appreciate great work of literature. The poetry recitation contest was another amazed activity for the students to bring his talent into full play. All the contestants took turns read their favorite poems to the audience. We all find the Reading Week very beneficial. It has not only enriched our school life, and helped us form the habit of reading.

On January 5th, students in our school visited Robot World, which we saw a great variety of robot. It was amazed to find those robots could do a great number of things just like real people, including playing chess, playing piano and drawing pictures. What's more, the robots are in different kinds and shapes, which made us enjoyable. In addition, that excited me most was the show given by a group of robots. We had a school trip on last Sunday. Hundreds of us took part in it excited.

At 8:00 am, we set out for the top of Jiuhuang Mountain in high spirits. All the way we were chatting,singing and laughing,enjoyed the fresh air and the beautiful sceneries.When someone fall behind,others would come or offer help. About 2 hours later,we all reached the top.Seeing from there, the river below looked like a thin belt. We were very happy that we jumped and cheered with joy.

Hello, everyone! I would like to share my travel experience for you. Last summer, ours school had an exchange programme with an American school, but I took part in it with many classmates. We stay at host families, that gave us an opportunity to learn more about America. The main part of our programme was to experience the school life in the America. Compare with Chinese students, American students were very open and active. Besides, they had less homeworks and fewer exams. During the visit, I made friends with some American students, who were very interesting in Chinese culture. I think the programme is of great benefit to us as well the American students.
