Write descriptions next to every color (yellow: your favorite kind of food; red: some-thing you’re good at; blue: your favorite vacation).
Have students sit in a circle.
Open a pack of M&-Ms.
Pass around the pack.
Ask students to pick out an M&.M.
Whatever color they get, they have to answer the description.
Go until the pack is empty.

Write 12 get-to-know-you questions on a board.

Prepare two sleeping bags. Pair up students in pairs of two.

Last Saturday morning, our school invite an old craftsman, Mr. Liu, to teach us by how to make Chinese traditional kites. At the beginning of the class, he showed us the wonderful kites he had made, that impressed us a lot. Then he explained us the basic steps and skills of making kites. We stood around him, listen to his instructions and watching attentively. Before that, we started making kites on us own. Mr. Li walked around and helped us patient. Finally, we flew the kites together. Looking at the flying kites, we were all in high spirit. We hope to have more meaning activities like this.

Last Friday, we had a great fun. On March 19 we took part on a Tang Poetry Recitation Contest in our school hall, completing last year. The competition enjoyed great popularity among us students. It was held not only enrich our campus life but also greatly motivate their passion for Tang poems. There was a number of interesting and exciting activity in the competition. We all fall in love with the competition that day. We truly valued the rarely chance to appreciate the beautiful of our culture from this competition and we all look forward to the next Tang Poetry Recitation Contest.
