Healthy eating doesn’t just mean what you eat, but how you eat. Here is some advice on healthy eating.

Eat with others. It can help you to see others’ healthy eating habits. If you usually eat with your parents, you will find that the food you eat is more delicious.

Listen to your body. Ask yourself if you are really hungry. Have a glass of water to see if you are thirsty. Sometimes you are just thirsty, and you need no food.

Eat breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. After you don’t eat for the past ten hours, your body needs food to get you going. You will be smarter after eating breakfast.

Eat healthy snacks like fruits, yogurt or cheese. We all need snacks sometimes. In fact, it’s a good idea to eat two healthy snacks between your three meals. This doesn’t mean that you can eat a bag of chips instead of a meal.

In the future, space will be home to more stations like the ISS. NASA is building a space station that is smaller than the ISS near the moon. Also, China’s space station will be put into use in 2022.

5 . Most people have heard of the Great Wall of China, but not many people outside of China know about the Grand Canal. This man-made waterway—known in China as Da Yunhe—is 1,700 kilometers long and some parts of it are more than 2,000 years old. It links the north of China with Hangzhou, a city in the southern part of the country. It’s the longest man-made waterway in the world.

It was built as a way to transport grain(谷物) from the rich agricultural land in China’s south to cities in the north. In fact, it’s not one canal, but a system of canals and rivers linked together. It’s still an important part of the transport system in China. Thousands of boats use it every day to transport grain and many other types of cargo.

Now the Chinese government is doing new work on the Grand Canal. It is making parts of it deeper, so bigger ships can use it. The canal will also help to move water. There is a lot of rain in the south of China, but not as much in the north. The canal will carry millions of liters of water from the south to the north.

The Grand Canal is much less famous than the Great Wall, and not very many tourists visit it. But it’s possible to go on a cruise(乘船游览) along some of the oldest parts of the canal. Passengers on these cruises see beautiful parts of China that other visitors don’t see.

Many parents like setting family rules for their kids. When kids break the rules, parents will give them punishment. In fact, when you tell your kids about a new rule, you should talk with them about the price they should pay for breaking the rule—what the punishment will be.

The punishment you set should be reasonable（合理的）, without violence or threat（威胁）. For example, if you find your son smoking, you may limit（限制）his social activities for two weeks. In the United States, the Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington DC, has been home to giant pandas for 50 years! On March 16,2022, celebrations began for the big anniversary(周年纪念日).

The zoo’s first pandas were Ling Ling and Hsing Hsing. In 1972, Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai gave them to the US people as gifts. Over the past 50 years, eight pandas have lived at the zoo.

The zoo workers try their best to take care of the giant pandas. As for food, the zoo grows bamboo. It also cuts bamboo from 20 places across Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. Sometimes, it even gets donations of bamboo from the public. Giant pandas also receive apples, sweet potatoes, biscuits and honey water. Sweet potatoes ere a favorite. On special days, like birthdays, the pandas have a huge cake! There are also fun activities and toys for the pandas to play with. These help the pandas stay active and smart.

The pandas bring joy to millions of US people each year. People can see them at the zoo or watch their lives online. In 1999, the National Zoo started the Giant Panda Cam program. About 40 cameras are watching them at any given time. The program has been seen more than 100 million times, according to the zoo’s website.
